The Company: Our client is a leading family ran engineering firm in Darlington. They currently have a large presence in Oil & Gas, power generation and fabrication.
Salary of a Plater/ Fabricator
Up to £13.15 per hour
Job Description of a Plater/ Fabricator
As a Plater you will be required to carry out the following tasks:-
- Mag drilling
- Use a range of equipment such as band saws
- Oxy-gas cutting
- Pre-Welding
- Finishing Off
Skills & Experience of a Plater/ Fabricator
- Time Served would be advantageous (Recognised Apprenticeship or equivalent)
- Experience working in a heavy industry environment
- Ability to use a variety of tools and equipment
- Welding & Fabrication experience
