A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a Client of mine, who is a leading manufacturer within their industry who are looking for an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer. The company offer a great benefits package, extensive training and a low turnover in staff retention.

The Position:

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer, who is Multi Skilled to fulfill a permanent position to report into the Maintenance Manager daily. This position requires experience of working within a Manufacturing or high demanding industry.


Skills & Requirements of a Maintenance Engineer:  

Strong skillset of Fault Finding

Electrical and Mechanical breakdowns

Time Served – Apprenticeship (MUST)

Providing planned maintenance activities within a fast paced, high volume environment.

Repairing and maintaining a host of machinery.

Any form of programming invertors would be beneficial.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and develop the PPM schedule

To drive KPI’s and success within the maintenance department

Hands on approach to trouble shooting and conducting the root cause analysis

Rectification of PLC’s and fault finding

Completing the actions arising from root causes.

To showcase a high degree of multi-skilling and be comfortable delivering mechanical duties.

To systematically establish the cause of failure in equipment.

To identify root causes wherever possible and communicate with relevant personnel.

Ensuring health & safety regulations are followed.
