Service Administrator

Hours: Alternate weeks Monday to Friday 07:00 to 17:00 and 08:00 to 18:00

Responsibilities:

  • Generate and take bookings for service and repairs
  • Ensure that the appointment register is kept up to date
  • Ensure that jobs carried over to the next day are carried forward
  • Ensure that the best possible information is recorded and included on the job card
  • Keep customers updated on jobs
  • Organise efficient collection and delivery of vehicles to minimise downtime
  • Check through previous night’s job cards, contact customers with a full update on work carried out and any outstanding defects.
  • Provide administrative support
  • Provide support to customers over the phone and by email
  • Chase order numbers
  • Raise job cards
  • Send invoices and provide quotes to customers
  • To provide a high quality of written communication on work including our internal documents, customers documents and the department of transports documents.

 

Skills required:

  • Ability to plan ahead effectively and multi task
  • Comfortable working in a fast  paced environment
  • Good customer facing skills is essential
  • Previous experience within the motor industry
  • Previous experience delivering excellent administration and customer service is essential.
  • Previous experience with Kerridge is preferred
  • Full driving licence is preferred
