Senior High Voltage Battery Test Engineer

Responsibilities:
Responsible for review of verification/validation plans, preparing test procedures, test scheduling, supervising and executing.
Lead Battery Validation, Test and Technician Team Members.
Responsible for supporting setup and leadership of the Battery Testing Team.
Identify and coordinate the booking of labs that will meet battery validation and testing requirements at third party labs.
Working knowledge of handling high voltage systems, testing and validation.

Main tasks:
Plan and Manage schedule for onsite (and off-site) testing.
Test Procedure Development for V&V.
Data analysis experience (MATLAB, Python or other relevant tools or programming language).
Ability to analyze raw data and create validation and test reports.
Capable of using hand and power tools to perform repairs and modifications as required.
Ability to perform well as both an experienced validation engineer and a technical manager that can build and manage a battery test team.

Requirements:
Degree in Electrical Engineering or industry experience of Battery development, Validation or Test
Experience with testing and validating battery packs/subpacks & battery modules
Strong technical writing skills
Effectively communicate and work cross-functionally with all disciplines
Experience in programming and troubleshooting Test Stands
Advantage:
Understanding of battery systems and BMS controls
Experience in using CAN Tools and analyzing CAN data
Experience with instrumentation, sensors, and transducers
