Lamonby Recruitment are currently representing a Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy near Norwich who have a vacancy for a Structural Engineering Technician.

The Structural Engineering Technician will ideally hold either a ONC/OND or HNC/HND in a Civil or Structural Engineering related qualification. Experience of AutoCAD software would be a distinct advantage.

You will join the company’s Engineering team specialising in Structural Engineering projects within Residential, Commercial and Industrial. You will work on projects involving steel, concrete, timber and masonry.

Other projects may involve Civil Engineering Construction such as Infrastructure and Drainage detailing.

Structural CAD Technician Key Responsibilities

• Detailing and modelling of a wide range of building structures projects
• Undertake steel and concrete layout drawings. Reinforcement detailing and scheduling
• Work closely with engineers to ensure accurate drawing representation
• Support junior team members and help aid development

Structural CAD Technician Requirements

• Ideally hold either an ONC/OND or HNC/HND in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD would be a distinct advantage
• Experience with Revit is desirable though not essential
• Clean driving licence and use of car
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
