Maintenance Engineer NIGHTS

Panama shift -  2on 2off 3on 2off 2on 3off – 6-6 (off every other weekend)

Location - Leicester

Salary - £47,000 + OTE £50,000

Benefits – 22 days + 8 bank holidays, profit share, training, development

The Company

Our client is a leading a manufacturer of high-quality food products. With multiple sites across the UK, this multi-million-pound company are looking to recruit a maintenance engineer to join their strong and accomplished engineering team.

Their site in Leicestershire produces a range of chilled food products in to the biggest supermarkets and have seen huge growth in their turnover. The business has recently gone through significant investment to improve their facility and operations and have recently expanded their site to cope with demand.

The Role

As the maintenance engineer you will be responsible for all electrical and mechanical fault finding and rectification work on production lines on site. This will include fault finding through to a competent level with a multimeter or by checking inputs and outputs, reading schematics and checking HMI screens.

Electrical components include sensors, relays, safety circuits, 3 phase motors, inverters, switches & panels. PLC experience will require checking of inputs/outputs.

Mechanical work will include fault finding, swapping like for like on components such as bearings, motors, belts, blades.

The work will be a mixture of reactive and planned maintenance.

The Candidate

To be successful in your application for the role of Maintenance Engineer you must have the following skills, abilities or qualifications:

• Must have a recognised ELECTRICAL engineering qualification (apprenticeship, NVQ level 3, BTEC, ONC, C&G, HNC, HND).
• Experience of working within a FMCG or an Automated Production environment would be advantageous but will consider other backgrounds
• A positive can-do attitude.
