Job Description:

The client: A large food manufacturer based in Southall.

The role: This is an entry level role and offers a great opportunity for recent graduates seeking a first step into a career in supply chain. Supporting the supply chain and Logistics team, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Liaising with distributors and depots to implement delivery schedules and resolve problems
  • Confirm supply / delivery plans and stock availability with suppliers
  • Building relationships with internal; and external stakeholders
  • Producing reports using Excel and SAP/ Track inbound freight and costs
  • Raise POs
  • Other ad hoc duties

Requirements:

  • Good knowledge of excel (Intermediate  skills, able to produce reports/ manipulate data)
  • Customer service/ relationship building experience
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ideally some admin experience
