To be successful in the role of a Recruitment Researcher you need to be part private investigator, love being on the phone and emailing every day to a huge variety of people, you will hunt through the internet researching and name-gathering potential candidates, building relationships with those you communicate with.

The key responsibilities of a Recruitment Researcher include, but are not limited to:

  • Liaising closely with the Managing Consultant in establishing the recruitment brief
  • Writing up of the recruitment brief/advertisement
  • Assisting Managing Consultants in sourcing and formulating lists of fully qualified candidates within a given time scale
  • First stage qualification of candidates and selling the career opportunity, using influencing skills to build commitment and ultimately secure commitment to the opportunity and the submission of a curriculum vitae
  • Facilitating the provision of additional information for both candidates and clients
  • Ensuring that assignments run within their scheduled programme
  • Assisting the Managing Consultants in managing client expectation and the delivery of the exceptional services
  • Networking and building a talent pipelines
  • Always ensuring that internal and external communications are dealt with in a professional and courteous manner
