Business Analyst - Financial Services


Job Description:


World class financial services company in Edinburgh experiencing significant growth in the UK and Europe is seeking a Business Analyst with experience in the FS industry.

Supporting the implementation of changes to systems and processes, you will be responsible for identifying change needs, assessing the impact of the change, capturing and documenting requirements and then ensuring that those requirements are delivered by IT whilst supporting the business through the implementation process.


— Elicit requirements from users, challenging them where required
— Work collaboratively with developers on requirements gatherings
— Facilitate testing, including assisting the business users in the creation of test plans
— Maintain focus throughout the life of the project on delivering business value and meeting the business requirements
— Facilitate effective communication between all project team members
— Create and maintain analysis and process documentation
— Create and maintain training, presentation and communication material

 Experience and Knowledge:-

  • Significant experience in a Business Analyst role
  • Experience in facilitating workshops
  • Experience dealing with stakeholders at all levels in the organization
  • Financial Services experience (Investment management knowledge desirable)
