Job Description:

Ashberry Recruitment are looking to source a Purchase Ledger Clerk based in Colne.

About the Role

We have an opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our fast-paced Accounts team, the role would include supporting the accounts team, and the wider business including:

  • Matching and coding of invoices
  • Authorisation and processing of invoices on Sage 200
  • Supplier statements reconciliation
  • Liaising with internal departments and the suppliers to resolve queries
  • Fortnightly and monthly payment processing
  • Reconciliation of weekly catering reports
  • Maintaining the supplier database

The role will report into the Management Accountant.

About You

The ideal candidate for our Purchase Ledger Clerk will have experience with:

  • Experience of end to end purchase ledger
  • Using Sage 200 and Excel, including data entry
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Working in an accounting environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Working within a busy office environment
