Parking enforcement and compliance officer needed in Sutton £16.29ph ref 433573

Full time hours on a temporary basis.


Parking Services includes all processes relating to On and Off street parking, bus lanes and moving traffic enforcement. The operation of multi-storey and surface car parks across the Borough, operational responsibility for Controlled Parking Zones and Permit Parking Areas, blue badge and permit fraud enforcement and assessment of applications for installation of disabled bays. As part of the Parking Strategy multiple new permit zones have been, and continue to be, implemented alongside an ambitious expansion on School Street Schemes and development of Area Wide Schemes and the service is undertaking the necessary back office expansion required to meet these new challenges.


This job is graded at Grade 7, is a full time position, 36 hours per week (Monday to Friday).


It is for a 12-month period; the assignment will be reviewed after three months (or sooner) at the sole discretion of the Client. Parking Services work with a lot of partners and agencies and are looking for someone who is a good communicator and has excellent interpersonal skills. The successful candidate must be confident with parking enforcement software such as 3Sixty and Permit Gateway, and Google products.
