Based in Wakefield and the rate is £16.71ph PAYE

Our client is looking for a Senior Communications Officer. To take a lead role in a fast paced media relations division.
The successful candidate will need excellent media management experience, ideally with established contacts in the regional, national and local Government media. They must have a strong news sense, understand what great, news worthy content looks like and have the skills to deliver it. They should have experience of working in a communications, PR or marketing team and the ability to manage and deliver a front-line reactive and proactive media service.
Looking for someone with experience in PR / journalism who has worked for either the NHS / local authority. This is key for this role. Also must be good with social media.
