My client based in Birmingham is looking for a credit controller to come and join their team. You will be responsible for managing the recovery of monies from tenants/ occupiers and liaising with tenants on outstanding debt. Some of the main duties:

• Maintain records of debt payments and issue reminders to poor payers.
• Chase arrears on behalf of clients.
• Maintaining records of tenant actions.
• Agree all escalation steps to recover debt.
• Ensure tenant queries are actioned in a timely manner.
• Allocation of cash and reconcile statements

Skill set:

• Good Microsoft skills.
• Understand accounting techniques, sales ledger.
• Able to work to deadlines and manage time effectively.  
• Experienced in a busy or corporate environment.
• Highly numerate and excellent verbal and written communication.  
• Sound understanding of credit control procedures.
