MI Data Officer London - Hybrid (at least one day per week in office)

Profectus have partnered with a charity who bring together schools, employers and other partners to inspire young people to achieve their potential and thrive in their careers. They are looking to hire a MI Data Officer to  take specific responsibility for the production, analysis and dissemination of management information and to provide operational support to the MI Systems Manager. You will also support the management information team to produce ad-hoc reports and provide a management information helpline service.

Key Responsibilities

  • To take responsibility in ensuring that monthly management information, as well as other information reporting requirements are fulfilled.
  • To complete regular maintenance tasks to support the accuracy of data submissions.
  • To create reports that are meaningful and that easily understood by a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Interrogate the CCIS database to conduct analysis and create reports to fulfil both management information and ad-hoc reporting requirements.
  • To provide a management information helpline service to all stakeholders.
  • To work closely with colleagues in the Management Information Team and when necessary provide assistance to help meet deadlines.
  • To contribute to effective teamwork and information sharing, including participation in team meetings, supervision and staff forums.
  • To be willing to undertake occasional evening duties and weekend working as and when required.
  • To be responsible for promoting equality of opportunity in accordance with established guidelines.
  • To carry out any other duties as may be required from time-to-time commensurate to the post.

Essential


• Experience of producing and validating performance reports.
• Ability to present data in a clear and concise manner to colleagues, other
professionals and at group presentations.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Very good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work very well under pressure.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adopt a flexible approach in managing conflicting demands.
• Ability to work effectively with others, co-operate with colleagues and help the
team to achieve its goals.
• Ability to organise own workload effectively.
• A firm grasp and commitment to equal opportunities.
• Level 3 qualification achieved.

Desirable


• Degree or equivalent achieved.
• Experience of working with relational databases such as CCIS, especially in
relation to database interrogation.

• Work effectively as a member of a team to develop innovative and creative
