Head of Environmental Policy needed in Newham £241.22 per day PAYE - Reference: 434996

• To be accountable for the delivery of strategy, performance management, business systems, resident engagement and business improvement across the Public Realm Service including but not limited to Waste, Recycling, Street Scene, Parks and Open Spaces, Markets, Fleet Management and Markets.

• To take a lead role in the commissioning and development of the East London Waste Authority championing the interests of Newham’s residents ensuring that the partnership supports the waste management and recycling objectives and delivers best value.
• To work across the directorate and corporately to deliver improved environmental outcomes across the Public Realm service to support the achievement of the client’s corporate objectives.

This is working full time hours on a temporary contract basis
