Head of Projects (Northamptonshire) – Up to £65,000!

The main duties of the Head of Projects will be to lead the Project Managers and Project Engineers to ensure on time, cost, and quality delivery of customer projects.

Job Description of a Head of Projects

• Lead the Project Managers and Project Engineers in the team to ensure on time, cost, and quality delivery of our customer projects – ranging from single conveyors through to multi-million-pound recycling systems
• Develop and maintain Tools and Best Working Practices for the organisation, incorporating Quality process, Standards and Compliance adherence and Project delivery Cadence
• Improve cross-business working practices and communication
• Drive standardisation of both product and process
• Identify and facilitate skills and training requirements for the team
• Ensure positive customer experience
• Lead by example – demonstrating appropriate behaviours and coaching the team in best practices

Skills & experience of a Head of Projects

• Experience in the Waste management, Recycling, Materials handling or Construction Industries with close working relationships with in-house manufacturing entities.
• You will be a talented and engaging Project Manager focused on driving the development of the customer experience as well delivering live Projects to their programmes and budgets.
• You will have strong demonstrable project management skills, working closely with other colleagues/internal departments to ensure that customer needs are fully met.
• You will also have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work with people at all levels, ensuring that customer relationships are maintained and nurtured.
• A strong track record in motivating teams, both internal and external, is a key requirement
• A full UK driving license
