Profectus are very pleased to have partnered with this intriguing start-up InsurTech who are looking for a Data Scientist to join them and help to build their roadmap. They hope to someone who has built machine learning models that have demonstrated clear and purposeful business value and someone with extensive experience in driving the business forward with data analysis. Ideally, you will have experience with machine learning and have used analytics to drive product growth in the past.

Required Expererince;

• Have 3+ years’ experience in Data Science, Data Analysis or equivalent.
• Have a solid understanding of statistical inference, experimental design, and analysis.
• Have a solid experience of using SQL, R and Python.
• Have experience developing and using machine learning methods in production.
• Have experience with implementing and maintaining Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Google Data Studio or equivalent to help their team access all the data they need.
• Have an analytical mindset and enthusiasm for drawing insights from complex data.

Day to Day;

• Build, improve and maintain machine learning models used in their products (including risk, pricing, claims and more).
• Build and maintain product performance dashboards using off-the-shelf tools such as Tableau etc
• Support the engineering and product teams in the implementation and analysis of A/B tests.
• Work with the engineering team to ensure data flows securely and optimally between all systems.
