Profectus are very pleased to have partnered with this intriguing start-up InsurTech who are looking for a Back End Python Engineer to help them in building a modern, digital-first insurance and services company and are looking for a foundational backend engineer who shares their passion for using technology to make the world a better place.

About you;

• 5+ years' Python experience
• Greenfield project lover
• Building REST APIs
• Postgres/Elasticsearch/Redis are tried and tested tools you reach for
• Use infrastructure as code with AWS, Google or a similar cloud provider
• Highly advantageous to have front end expereince with JavaScript, HTML and CSS or any web, Native or hybrid mobile engineering experience

Day to Day;

• Help to define architecture and technology stack with the CTO
• Assist in defining end-to-end experience for customers and internal-facing products with the CPO and Lead designer
• Make major contributions to their MVP and product as it evolves
• Build APIs to support the frontend, mobile and other third-party consumers
• Bootstrap the engineering team practices
