Resourcing Solutions are working with a major principal contractor to deliver a large scheme of built telecoms FTTP / FTTH in the south of the country.
This will keep our client's customers connected to superfast broadband, digital TV and the latest full-fibre gigabit internet services through the construction of new fibre networks.

We are looking to recruit an FTTP Operations Manager to head up the delivery of this project, managing multiple Project Managers and Site Supervisors of varied disciplines across the area for the scheme of work.
Reporting to the Head of Operations and Delivery, for BT Contracts, the Operations Manager will need to have specific experience as below:-

  • Extensive experience within the telecoms delivery industry with specific product knowledge of high capacity, business circuit delivery.
  • A strong background in client management, interfacing, understanding business critical requirements and reporting and presenting them effectively
  • Demonstrable experience and knowledge of fibre optic, new build FTTP specifications and quality assurance assessments.
  • A strong fibre background, preferably with a proven track record managing operational teams in a telecommunications FTTP delivery environment.
  • A recognised project management qualification is desirable
  • A commercial awareness and experience of managing project P&L
  • Quality management experience, ideally with an understanding of the BT M23 accreditation.
  • The role will be situational in terms of location on any one given day, with the core base office, being Basingstoke but this also being a heavily client facing role so travel also required.

This is a full-time permanent hire, upon which you can expect a competitive salary of up to £70,000pa, depending on experience.
