Job Description:

Ashberry Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for a young person to establish a career in a fast-growing Lift Engineering company, as an Engineer Support Assistant.


Our client is based in Colne, but also work on sites across the UK. This innovative company are one of only a handful of companies in the UK who offer a full turn key service for companies requiring new and refurbished lifts from manufacture to installation, servicing support and repair.


Our client research and design each lift individually, to provide reliable, smooth and energy-efficient performance. They manufacture with stronger materials, laser cut and assemble to provide ease of access for their service engineers.


You will be involved in supporting qualified Lift Engineers covering a variety of support tasks, including servicing support of lifts in the local area, modernisation and refurbishment of old lifts, installation of new equipment, and fabricating and wiring varying designs of lifts and elevators.


The successful candidate must be bright, energetic, enthusiastic and ready to build a career in an exciting, fast paced industry. Full training and support will be given, following this some working away and on call time will be required.


Requirements and details:


  • GCSE's a C and above are desirable
  • The right candidate will have the opportunity to undergo on the job training
  • Starting salary dependent on capability and experience
  • A CSCS Card will be provided
  • A driver would be preferable
