Job Description:

Exciting opportunity to join this world famous organisation on an initial 2 year fixed term contract.  You will need to have previously worked in a learning and development environment with experience of apprenticeship training and ideally funding and levy knowledge.


  • Ensure the digital levy account is managed effectively and accurately record spend against levy budget whilst forecasting future activity.
  • Develop and implement an apprenticeship programme strategy, mapping existing provision and making recommendations on future options.
  • To work with nationally based colleagues on opportunities for streamlining provision regarding upskilling and training, increasing efficiency and promoting opportunities more widely.
  • To maintain a comprehensive awareness of apprenticeship funding changes, best practice and competitor benchmarking to make recommendations of how these can be applied.
  • To manage procurement activities in order to identify and select apprenticeship provision that is high quality and enhances existing programmes.
  • To provide support to senior managers throughout the organisation to understand the opportunities that apprenticeship funding creates, implement programmes and to monitor the success of apprenticeship programmes within their teams.
  • Create and own the internal communications strategy regarding apprenticeships across the organisation promoting the benefits and challenging misconceptions
  • To provide up to date, accurate monitoring and evaluation data and records
  • To make the best use of digital tools, resources and strategies in promoting apprenticeship opportunities.
  • To operate flexibly within a changing and ambiguous environment
  • To actively influence relationships with local schools and colleges generating positive PR about apprenticeships and promoting the organisation as an exciting employer
  • As a member of the HR team, contribute to the development of strategy, people plans and business plans.
