Job Description:
Home-based remote working opportunity
You can work independently as part of a broader team to deliver Informatica BDM solutions for clients.
The Data Architect will work on end-to-end solutions, typical projects will include:
- Designing and leading the development of cloud based integration solutions
- Design and ownership of data ingestion pipelines
- Find improvements for data integration solution
- Defining and documenting technical design and architecture
- Overseeing complex data mapping activities
In addition, you will be expected to support the growth of the company by contributing to our knowledge base, managing and mentoring junior consultants, and engineers.
Skills and competencies required for the Data Architect
In addition to your strong communication skills, both oral and written, you'll have the ability to express technical concepts and issues into user friendly language, understanding data lakes and offering technical experience in one or multiple roles:
- Informatica BDM/EDI
- Informatica PowerCenter
- API Integration
- Real Time Integration
- Data Warehousing, Data Lakes and Big Data
- SQL/No SQL databases
- Knowledge of business analysis techniques, with a focus on requirements capture and analysis
- SDLC methodologies, preferably Agile and DevOps
Nice to have skills and competencies:
Further knowledge in the informatica product suite which can include the following:
- MDM(all domains)
- Axon
- EDC
- Enterprise integration platforms and patterns
- Exposure to modern cloud based data solutions including
- Snowflake
- Streamsets
- Databricks
- Azure Synapse
- Azure Data Factory
- AWS Redshift
- Knowledge of enterprise applications and how to integrate with them, including SAP, SFDC and others
- Knowledge of modern delivery techniques including DevOps and Micro Services
- Certification in either Informatica, AWS or Azure
