Job Description:

Our client is looking for an experienced Empty Homes Team Leader to work on a 40 hour per week contract role to start on the 11-12-17 until the 11-03-18 with a likely extension to the contract.

Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • To efficiently manage the operational delivery of a modern, high performing empty homes services; including:

 

  • Managing the effective and efficient utilisation of all available resources for the service, including labour, materials, plant, vehicles and equipment;

 

  • Managing, evaluating and controlling the use of contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers supporting the delivery of empty homes services;

 

  • Managing, evaluating and controlling the performance of all resources involved in the delivery of empty homes services;

 

  • Ensuring full compliance with all Client policies and relevant health and safety, environmental and CDM legislation and requirements, including acting as a safety representative for the service;

 

  • Analysing and interpreting trading account information and make relevant decisions from this analysis.

TECHNICAL

·      To have management experience and a proven track record in delivering modern, effective, customer focused and high performing property maintenance  services;

·      To have detailed knowledge and understanding of the impact of the regulatory framework and government policy on asset management programmes;

·      To have a proven ability to successfully lead, motivate and manage teams to produce effective outcomes,  including technical aspects and human resource issues;

·      To have a proven ability to manage projects and budgets successfully including the preparation and submission of external funding bids;

·      To have a proven ability to effectively resolve issues and problems that may arise with contractors or customers, identifying and appraising options and implementing appropriate resolutions.
