Our client is a successful and rapidly growing Microsoft Gold Partner, with an excellent reputation as a Professional Services Solutions provider within the Microsoft SharePoint and Azure market space. As part of their continued growth, they are now looking to recruit a Corporate Account Manager with previous experience of solution sales into new and existing accounts within the IT sector. Based in the Daresbury Park area, close to the motorway network, they offer a competitive salary of around £50K base and OTE 100K+. Car allowance £500 per month. The Role:

This is an externally based role, and the majority of time will be spent attending customer sales appointments which will be national. There will be an element of internal, office based activity, which will involve the qualification of inbound sales leads and prospecting activities, fully supported by their Marketing and Admin teams.

  • Generate sales of IT services and solutions within the Microsoft Service stack from targeted customer accounts using 30/60/90 day account plans and top 100 accounts
  • Cross sell and upsell into their existing client base based on internal knowledge of the customer requirements and solutions in place
  • Qualify inbound sales leads via their SPIN qualification criteria
  • Prospecting activities including telephone calls and personal social media to promote the company and build rapport within relationships
  • Business Development activities to build own pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Work closely with the marketing team to support marketing campaigns and give sales feedback
  • Maintain CRM system to include all sales activities customer contact and as an accurate forecasting tool

Key skills:

  • Previous history of successfully gaining business from new accounts
  • Proven success meeting sales targets within an IT solutions and services sell
  • Sound knowledge of cloud architecture and digital infrastructure strategy to drive a company towards the service offerings
  • Extensive experience and practical, technical knowledge of the Microsoft service stack
  • Proven ability to drive targeted, qualified, face to face business appointments with motivated buyers
  • Experience of high value sales cycles and strategic selling in a highly competitive market, demonstrating a strong understanding of how to lock competitors out of deal
  • An understanding of reseller margins and the commercial drivers of our technical service offering to enable contract negotiations
