Job Description:

Insurance Officer Based in Newham and the salary is £17.25ph PAYE  

This is a full time temporary role.

This role will involve:

  • To work efficiently and effectively in the maintenance and administration of insurance policies and procedures
  • Process and handle insurance claims at a level directed by the Insurance Manager according to the Insurance Section’s Claims Allocation and Authorisation Procedure
  • Support the Insurance Manager in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the claims handling database, ensuring that correspondence and reports comply with formats and reflects the current organisational structure where required.
  • Manage assigned stakeholder(s) and produce MI to support risk improvement programmes as may be required from time to time

Ideally candidates will have:

  • Cert CII from the Chartered Insurance Institute or willingness to pursue qualification.
  • Pass A-levels or NVQ Levels 2 or 3, preferred subjects are Business, Finance, Admin and Management
