Job Title: Business Development Director  
Location: Nottingham, East Midlands
Salary Package: £60K - £65K Base + Commission/Bonus  5% Pension Contribution, 25 Days Holiday, Private Healthcare, Travel Allowances & Staff events (football nights, pizza, drinks)

My client, a large Telecommunications specialist who are experiencing exciting growth and are looking for a Business Development Director to join their team.

With multiple data centres and colocation facilities Globally, my client provides Communications and Cloud Computing services to a wide range of customers from ambitious start-ups, national and international enterprises, global telecommunication and mobile operators, OTT and internet giants, system integrators, channel partners to governments.

Key Experience Required:

  • Experience selling (Unified Communications) MS Lync, or Skype for Business along with other Video Bridge/Conference services
  • New business logo acquisition and navigation through enterprise accounts
  • Strong sales qualifications skills
  • You will have over achieved your sales quota and usually over achieved
  • Hunter sales mentality with proven negotiation experience at executive level
  • Particular emphasis and experience of managed WAN/VPN solutions via formal RFP’s
  • Good presentation skills essential and experience of presenting RFP responses.

Role Information:  

  • Acquiring new logo business within enterprise accounts
  • Completing RFP formal tenders of managed WAN/VPN solutions
  • Positioning Cloud and Unified Communications solutions into direct customer accounts
  • Working on bid management, pricing and cooperating with legal teams
  • Negotiating at C-Level as well as with Senior Level Stakeholders
