This truly dynamic, innovative and reputable global consultancy firm is looking for a commercially minded Operations Manager to head up their Global Marketing and Design function, covering maternity on a 1 year fixed term contract. As the Operations Manager for Marketing, you will report into the Chief Marketing Officer and will lead a small team of marketing assistants, playing a crucial role in ultimately ensuring the marketing function adheres to best practice and that marketing strategies and plans are successfully delivered. The Marketing Operations Manager will coordinate marketing campaigns, activity reporting, manage monthly KPIs, produce marketing performance reports, manage a £10m spend budget including monthly reporting and quarterly forecasting, will approve all marketing spend and work with procurement in regularly reviewing supplier contracts. In addition, the Operations Manager will be the main point of contact for recruitment, including the employment budget, headcount plans and ensuring recruitment targets are met.

Ideal applicants will have:

  • Extensive experience in a similar Operations role within a professional services organisation
  • Proven experience of planning and forecasting budgets – understanding both business finances and targets
  • Strong leadership skills along with ability to manage a heavy and demanding workload
  • Previous line management experience (ideal)
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and advanced MS Word.
