Due to continuous growth my client is looking for an experienced Electrical Build Team Supervisor (Aldershott, Hampshire).
My client is looking for an individual from an automation build background who can come in with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in an automation/build environment. They will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in panel building, field wiring and site installation of automation equipment. In return my client is looking to offer a salary of between £25,000 - £28,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
Electrical Build Team Supervisor Role
The chosen candidate will report to the manufacturing and logistics manager, and they will be responsible for the efficient operation of the electrical builds and site installations.
Efficiently undertake panel builds neatly and correctly from E-Plan and Autocad electrical work instructions to agreed timing plans.
Efficiently undertake machine field wiring neatly, correctly from E-Plan and Autocad electrical work instructions to agreed timing plans.
Assist in the planning and undertaking of site installations both locally and at distance which may require prolonged periods away from home on sites.
Effectively manage the build team both in the factory and on site to ensure that systems are built in the time scales required utilising the team resources to best effect.
Role Requirements and Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in an automation build environment is required as is a minimum of 5 years’ experience in panel building, field wiring and site installation of automation equipment.
Maintain the company’s systems in accordance with ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001.
Able to work in a tidy and methodical manner whilst ensuring that the build team also works in a tidy manner both in the factory and on site.
Attend in house and site project progress meetings to provide feedback on builds and initiate any resultant actions relating to the same.
Strong communication skills and able to effectively liaise with site personnel including customer representatives when required.
Prepared to work unsociable overtime hours when required to complete assignments.
Participate in and contribute to local daily team and project review meetings.
Contribute to Continuous Improvement Activities in the work place.
Actively mentor Apprentices to ensure that they are assisted in their learning process
Ensure that the correct stock levels of agreed parts are maintained at all times
Must have a can-do attitude, be a flexible, self-starter who has excellent attention to detail.
Promote the company’s profile, facilities and expertise at all opportunities.
The working hours will be 7:30am – 4:30pm Monday – Thursday where core hours on Friday are from 7:30am – 12:30pm allowing for an extended weekend. Additional hours are sometimes required from time to time depending on the companies work levels, but this is reflected in pay.
