Prior experience of team leadership in a fast-paced R&D environment will be crucial, as this role will empower you to technically and functionally lead a team of research specialists in the development of personal care, hair care and skin care formulations.

Utilising your substantial experience of communication and presentation to senior management, you will act as an ambassador of knowledge to non-scientific audiences as well as peers. Your outstanding interpersonal skills will help you to support marketing, sales and other functions with your scientific knowledge.

You will have a lateral approach to problem-solving, which you will employ alongside a cross-disciplinary collaborative working style, to deliver successful experimental programs. Using your excellent project management skills you will mentor, inspire and motivate a team of technologists.

Having already worked with personal care products you will have a great understanding of consumer behaviour and needs, as well as a robust understanding of the standards and regulations that the global market requires. This familiarity with the market will enable you to think ambitiously, challenge concepts and critique published data, developing experimental programmes and determining the best route to delivery.

You will be a driven leader; able to think strategically and logically, with outstanding organisational skills, the ability to prioritise tasks in a rapidly changing environment whilst retaining a sense of attention to detail.
