Job Title: Employability Tutor / Trainer

Location: Leicestershire

Salary: £25,000 - £31,000

Type: Full-time, Permanent

Duties:

• Design and deliver individually tailored high-quality Employability training sessions to unemployed learners hit by Covid-19, to help develop their employability skills and aid them in securing employment.
• Support the individual with Job search activities, Interview techniques, applications, re-training and restoring confidence.
• The successful candidate will be flexible with their delivery methods, providing differentiation and be able to adapt quickly to learners needs.
• Work closely with the Employer Engagement team to ensure provision of responsive solutions that meet specific employment opportunities (e.g. short courses). 
• Design and deliver 'train the trainer' sessions to the Operational Team, to ensure that new team members are aware of our client's online service provision.
• Work closely with the Employment Advisors, to ensure that they hold a sound knowledge and understanding of the available training courses and that participant's action plans are kept up to date.
• Promote Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding and Health and Safety. 

Essential Criteria:

• Must hold a good knowledge of the employability sector and the delivery of employability training programmes.
• Must hold an understanding of the barriers unemployed job-seekers may face when seeking a new role.
• Must have experience of delivering and developing training sessions on a face to face and/or remote basis.
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English at Grade C or above.
• IT literate.
• Demonstrable energy and passion to motivate and train clients towards securing employment.
• Demonstrate confidence, tenacity and ability to work on own initiative.
