A unique and excellent opportunity to work for an exclusive Client of mine has arisen in the Kidderminster area. This position is needing someone who has drive and ambition to not only join a team, but someone who is looking for a long-standing career.

The role requires someone who is not only electrically biased but has a good sound knowledge of mechanical skills as well as the successful candidate will join a multi skilled team.

Location: Kidderminster  
Shifts: Continental (6-6, 2 on, 2 off)

The Position:

I am looking for an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer to fulfil a permanent position, who must have experience of a heavy industry which would be desirable. This position would require not only someone who can work well within a team but someone who can work on their own and make necessary judgements.


Skills & Requirements:  

• Time Served – Full Apprenticeship (Electrically)  
• 17th/18th Edition qualified
• Exposure within a Heavy Industry
• Good PLC experience
• Electric motors and Pneumatics’ experience
• Strong Fault-Finding/Problem Solving experience
• Good sound mechanical skills

Responsibilities:

• Installing and maintaining electrical and electro-mechanical machinery
• Program PLC equipment
• Use testing equipment to locate and remedy faults in the shortest time possible
• Operate and prevent maintenance systems
• Be available for call out duties in the event of a plant breakdown.
