Our client is looking for an experienced Assistant Anti Social-Behaviour Officer to work on a 37 hour per week contract role to start on the 09-01-18 until the 31-03-18 with a likely extension to the contract role.
Hours: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
The post holder must be flexible in their approach, have an excellent telephone manner and confident to deal with internal and external customers and colleagues alike. They should be able to work on their own initiative, have excellent written skills and should be familiar using Microsoft Office Programmes and happy to use internal databases to maintain accurate records.
In accordance with the Clients policy and procedures, assist Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Officers in aspects of their roles including triaging new cases of ASB reported to the client. Responding to complaints, taking minutes of meetings, keeping accurate records and drafting documents for use in legal bundles.
MAIN ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
2.1 Assist ASB Officer to triage complaints of ASB to the Client. Ensure that these complaints are allocated to the appropriate team within the council and the complainant updated.
2.2 To assist ASB Officers to respond to enquiries and reported complaints of ASB and serious neighbour nuisance.
2.3 To use various internal databases to ensure that cases are updated. To ensure that all records are kept accurately and securely in accordance with policies and procedures.
2.4 To assist with the preparation of case files for use in legal proceedings or other action.
2.5 To produce accurate minutes for meetings as requested. Use Microsoft Office programmes and in house databases as required.
2.6 Carry out any other duties as required by the line manager from time to time in accordance with the grading of the post.
