The Company: 

Our client is a leading global Engineering manufacturer looking to recruit a new Production Engineer due to growth in the team.

Job Description of a Production Engineer

As the Production Engineer, you will be responsible for;

• Implement & take ownership of appropriate process controls (Including APCC, Control Plans, SOS’s, Risk Assessments, PUWER Assessments etc).
• Control jigs, fixtures and production tooling within own area of responsibility.
• Generate and introduce process improvements to support the 4.5% productivity goal each year.
• Work with Maintenance and Production Team members to ensure effective PM/TPM implementation.
• Support and/or Lead Root cause analysis workshops as necessary to support Production stoppages and reoccuring issues.
• Accountable for being the Lead for New product introduction into Operations.
• Support process and safety improvement initiatives.

Skills & experience of a Production Engineer

• Minimum HNC qualified in an Engineering discipline.
• Previous employment within a Manufacturing environment.
• Capable of leading Teams to deliver Project goals.
• Project Management and NPD introduction (Desirable).
• Lean manufacturing & business improvement experience.
