Working with like-minded colleagues in a supportive environment is important to you, as well as being able to have a good deal of autonomy over how your day is organised.

The feeling of a “job well done” is what drives you and seeing tangible results from your hard work is what gives you a buzz.

Having clear visibility of where you can go within an organisation, along with the company investment to help get you there is what you want from your next recruitment move.

If this describes you then please read on….

About Us:

Here at Orion, we live by our core values “Honesty, Integrity and Continuous Improvement.”

We build long term relationships with both our candidates and our clients, many that go back over 25 years. We specialise in working with manufacturing and engineering organisations, partnering with them to find the top 5% of talent out there at any one time.

In our office, based just outside of Reading, we are continuing to grow and over the last 12 months we have added 10 new hires into our team of 30 recruiters. Our average length of service is 7 years (a fact that we are justifiably proud of!)

We have exciting growth plans for the next financial year and to help us achieve our goals we need to attract, secure onboard and train the recruitment superstars of the future - that is where you come in…

About the Opportunity:

Working closely with our Head of People, you will be able to help develop and influence our recruitment strategy.

There is a high demand for the skillsets, resilience, and positive attitude that we seek in our future recruiters and so every day you will need to think outside the box in terms of where and how to engage with both active and passive talent.

Your use of more traditional attraction methods such as job boards will play a role, but so will getting creative on our social media platforms.

Your personality is key to success in this role – we want you to show a real passion for what you do, if you love finding top talent and you feel that you fit with our culture then that will shine through in your candidate conversations – after all, an organisation is only ever as good as its people.

You may already have experience of Learning and Development, but if not, you are keen to learn new skills and share your recruitment knowledge with our new rookies.

So, if you feel that you are excited by what you have read and would like to apply then, go for it!  But if you are keen to find out more then just contact Lynne Moss, Head of People, at Orion Electrotech Recruitment Reading for a confidential conversation.

One last thing, if you have not had exposure to recruitment but you still like the sound of the opportunity then still apply -for the right person, we would be open to training as long as you have the transferable skills we seek.
