Electronic Design Engineer - West Yorkshire

2–3-month contract

Contract: £33.00p/h - £37.00p/h DOE

Power supply / SMPS / analogue / Hardware

I am recruiting for a key client in West Yorkshire, who specialise in the design and manufacturer of lighting systems, control systems, security systems for the transportation sectors. They are now recruiting for an exciting contract role for an Electronic Design Engineer for initially 2-3 months, potentially longer project dependant.

For this position, you will require to conduct the following daily duties:

v  Designing SMPS and DC to DC convertors - all electronic and control systems

v  Hardware – analogue - concept design of components and systems

v  Complex integrated circuitry design

v  building and testing of prototypes, then design for manufacture

The successful person will need to have the following attributes:

v  Qualified Electronics Engineer ideally to HNC/Degree level

v  Power supply design experience

v  Experience of electronics CAD systems such as Cadance, Eagle or Altium

v  Strong technical projects teams experience

v  Ability to interpret complex specifications, with a keen eye for problem solving

v  A team player, a strong communicator at all levels, working within complex project team environment, and strives for excellence
