Job Description:

Are you interested in working for a market leader in a fast-growing industry? Realistic Games are looking for a new JavaScript/HTML5 Developer to join our expanding team in Reading. We are looking for somebody who wants to make a difference, who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and most importantly wants to help build software quickly but to the highest possible quality.

Working as part of the Development team with the following responsibilities.


  • Working within the team and organization using Agile/Scrum practices and values;
  • Providing careful, thoughtful, useful code contributions to continue our journey toward delivering high quality online gaming to our customers;
  • Documenting your good work such that others can benefit from your contributions, and the entire team can stand on the shoulders of great work already done;


The potential candidate must have at least 3-5 years’ experience within a JavaScript / HTML5 Developer role for a software development team/company.  The following skills and experience are required:


  • Core Front End development skill set of HTML5, CSS(3) and JavaScript;
  • Ability to turn designs into fully functioning code;
  • Object Oriented JavaScript development
  • Exposure to Frameworks such as React, Angular, Backbone and CSS pre-processors such as LESS or SASS.
  • Experience in creating games of any sort within a mobile environment is useful;
