Our client is the UK's leading independent provider of utility metering services for energy and water supplies. They have several vacancies within their Smart Support Team from Field Support Agents to workflow Schedulers & Fault Administrators.
The role and responsibility of the Field Support Agents will include acting as first line support assisting a remote workforce of field operatives and aiding them through the end-to-end commissioning process of smart meters. This includes troubleshooting fault issues over the phone and triaging problems.
The Scheduler roles will include supporting the successful and efficient allocation of work to Field Operatives and monitoring the workflow through the schedule. You will monitor and oversee workflow from booking to scheduling, deal with supplier escalations, queries, urgent booking requests and exception handling.
The Fault Administrators will provide full administrative support to the faults team.
Candidates must be confident IT users including Microsoft Office skills, e.g. Word, Excel and Outlook. The roles will involve interactions with internal and external stakeholders to establish the nature of problems and explain solutions. Call handling is an integral part of these roles therefore a positive telephone manner is essential.
Experience of call handling, first line support, workflow scheduling, customer service or administrator duties is preferable. Candidates should have the ability to think logically and triage issues and attention to detail is key. Candidates should have proven ability to progress an issue through to resolution, i.e. problem solving skills.
