Job Title: Counselling Lecturer / Tutor
 
Location: Hertfordshire 

Salary: £26,000 - £32,000 (Pro-rata)

• Experience of delivering Counselling qualifications.
• Either educated to degree level or hold occupational qualification in relevant subject area (Counselling)
• Hold or be willing to work towards a recognised teaching qualification at level 3 or above: PTLLS/AET/PGCE.
• Hold A*- C in Math and English
• CPCAB Registered
• Must hold solid occupational competency within Counselling.
• Must be IT Literate.

• To deliver Counselling qualifications from entry level to level 4 (if competent). 
• Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
• Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
• Using a variety of tools to make learning inspiring and engaging.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.

Personal Skills:

• Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively
• Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
• Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners
