Test Analysts / QA (Data Migration)


Job Description:

Global Fintech and world class platform provider in financial services seeking a number of Test Analysts to be based in London. Growth opportunity to join a fast paced and dynamic Fintech business and accelerate your career forward.

Working within the Migration Team your role will be to ensure that the Migration deliveries are delivered to a superior quality standard.  Given the complexity of the data migration aspect of these deliveries and the sensitive nature of the data, quality assurance is a critical component of these deliveries.

Responsibilities will include: 

  • Work with developers, testers and analysts to implement and execute test strategies
  • Discuss, understand and document client and/or internal business testing requirements
  • Work with analysts to manage testing carried out by clients
  • Defining test coverage to minimize business risk;
  • Generate clear and concise summaries on defects, communicate these defects to developers as well as manage and review the defect resolution process;
  • Identify areas for test automation and develop automated test scripts as required;
  • Complete post-implementation testing

To be considered for the roles you will have the following:

  • Experienced in working with ETL / SSIS and / or Data Migration
  • Knowledge and experience of RDBMS, data modelling and SQL;
  • ISTQB Foundation qualified (preferred)
  • Ideally Experience/Knowledge in test automation frameworks and tools;
  • Experienced in Migrations projects;
  • Analytical thinking, high attention to detail;
  • Familiarity with financial products and markets would be an advantage;
