Our client have an exciting opportunity to join their expanding business as a Product Manager based out of their facility near Nottingham Job Purpose
The role will take ownership of the company product portfolio, with responsibility for the Product Strategy, Product Roadmap and full Product Life Cycle (PLC)
The role will be the technical subject matter expert on the full range of company products, including the company hardware, supporting accessories such as the WES App, and fire safety ancillary products.
The role will identify, evaluate and deliver growth opportunities for the portfolio by adding new features, improvements and continuous evolution of the WES portfolio.
The role will be accountable for managing and improving all processes and activity regarding product operations, including optimisation of processes, development of strategic KPI's, and implementing improvements.
The role will liaise closely with all members of the Product Innovation Team, as well as all departments across the business, primarily Sales, Marketing, Operations and Finance.
As a senior position within the Product Innovation Team, the Product Manager will work closely with the Product Innovation Director and other Product Managers in the business, to align and execute the company product strategy.

Other accountability's will include but are not limited to:
  • Contribute to the development of strategic objectives deliver and implement the Business Plan.
  • Manage budgets to targets, in order to optimise profit, minimise loss & manage a healthy cash flow for the Company.
  • Contribute to the development of a cross-functional Management Information process, ensuring that all relevant data is captured effectively, evaluated and used to inform decision making and drive performance.
  • Ensure that all functions and teams strive to deliver high quality, `best practice` outputs and services.
  • Supporting and, where required, leading project teams to ensure Product Improvement and MOC (Management of Change) projects are delivered on time, in full and within target costs.
  • Management responsibility for 1x head; WES Product Engineer, including training, development and performance.
  • Working closely with the Marketing team to generate value propositions / USPs, inform marketing briefs, and develop communication strategy for new and existing products.
  • As a key member of the Quality working group, ensuring any product-related issues, non-conformances or customer feedback is captured, actioned and communicated appropriately
  • Providing extensive analysis of products, customers, markets and competitors that will enrich our business intelligence and inform our decision-making for future projects.
  • Supporting sales teams, internal teams, customers and partners with product training and product support for new products, revisions or updates.


Remuneration package includes:
  • Basic salary of up to £60,000 per annum (Depending on suitability)
