PMO Portfolio Manager – Circa £80k + 20% Bonus (partial remote - 2 days in the Nottingham office)

You will accountable for logistical control of around £200m infrastructure and Cloud Portfolio programmes which will span over a three-year strategic programme.

Autonomy is key in this role - you’d take ownership of governance framework, financial compliance and metrics. Ideally, you will come from a financial services or data background and have experience of working with techies. You’d be actively building a strong programme Governance that supports both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, so coming from a technical background would certainly make a difference.

You’d have a proven track record of ensuring programme management teams are resourcing against scope, budget and targets. The programme team consists of around 60 staff which include management and PMO analyst teams.

We hear the word, effective communication skills all the time but in this instance, it would entail that you have a natural flare with presentations and communicating with senior stakeholders, business leaders and the CIO.

Career progression? Absolutely! Once you’ve settled down and delivering on the key points of this role, you’ll have the option of taking on a broader portfolio with the possibility to move into management where you could manage a PMO team of up to 15.
