This organisation offers a flexible working structure where you will be assisting in overseeing investment risk exposures across investment funds for which you have primary responsibility.

Key activities

These will include:

• Looking at multiple databases, performing data analysis using Python on investment funds.

• Working closely with Head of Department to assist in providing critical data insights.

• Providing key quantitative analysis on investment risk issues for senior stakeholders with use of multifactor risk models.

• Ownership of investment risk reporting.

This is a position for a self-starter who thrives off ownership and responsibility whilst also being able to function well in a team environment. The ability to use in-depth analytical skills whilst also demonstrating the strong communication skills to work in a global team and liaise with key stakeholders will be a distinctive advantage.

Qualification and Key Requirements

• Master’s degree in a quantitative subject with exposure to mathematical finance / econometrics.

• Strong buyside / investment management experience in order to hit the ground running straight away.

• Knowledge around investment risk modelling techniques and experience working with related systems.

• 3+ years of Python experience with additional SQL skills around database building and analysis.

• Strong knowledge around mainly fixed income and other assetclasses
