Site Manager – Liverpool, Albert Docks

£40-£43 p/h (LTD) Role is outside of IR35

50 hours a week

Contract to start in November until the end of the year

Confined Space/Engineering/Construction 

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Ensure that the works are undertaken in accordance with all H&S legislation, Policies, Procedures, construction site safety (CDM) standards.
  • Take ownership of site-based H&S, RAMS and paperwork – CDM H&S File.
  • Manage site activities, liaison with engineers and customers
  • Ensure that site inductions and daily safety briefings are carried out
  • Ensure that site security and appropriate safety notices are installed and maintained.
  • Ensure that public pedestrian routes are provided and maintained to NRSWA standards.
  • Ensure that suitable welfare facilities are in place and maintained in a clean condition
  • Provision of Fire Marshall and First Aid (FAW) cover.
  • Provide progress reports, site inspection reports.
  • Liaise with management and Engineering staff
  • Report any accidents, incidents, near misses or hazards in accordance with client procedures.

The candidate must possess the following skills to be considered for this role:

  • Confined space
  • CDM
  • 5 years in a similar role
  • Degree or HNC in Construction related field
  • SMSTS, Fire Marshall and 3-day FAW qualifications mandatory
  • SMSTS, CSCS Black Card
  • Experience on Electrical Installation projects.
  • Permits
  • RAMS
  • Dealing with contractors
  • Managed team of 10+ Contractors
