The Company

My fantastic client is the largest manufacturer in the UK who specialise in their high-quality product type within their market. They have over 7 sites across the UK, and with the business going from strength to strength and their continued growth, they are looking for two Customer Service Coordinators to join the team.

 

Salary of a Customer Service Co-ordinator

£26,000 - £30,000 depending on experience.

 

Job Description of a Customer Service Co-ordinator

You will be responsible for providing first class customer service and sales support for key customer accounts across. You will manage telephone, email, fax and web enquires, identifying and meeting the needs of customers daily.

  • Answer Customer Service Centre (CSC) and direct dial telephone & respond to email enquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Proficiently maintain and record interactions via Salesforce, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Reviewing order history to plan and forecast for customers’ needs, ensuring service levels meet and exceed expectations.
  • Input customer orders and enquiries into the CSC electronic systems, providing order acknowledgements, confirming accurate pricing and product information.
  • Accurately record corrective actions and monitor through to successful conclusion.
  • Work with fellow team members in checking orders and correcting errors.
  • Act as liaison between customer, logistics, credit control, marketing, planning and other sites in the UK.

 

Skills & experience of a Customer Service Co-ordinator

  • Must have a proven track record in account management
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good computer skills across all Microsoft programmes, specifically Excel
  • The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be confident and motivated, with the ability to effectively influence and negotiate with customers
