Do you enjoy problem solving and being the one to turn to when a machine breaks down?

Are you strong willed, independent and driven?

Are you able to cope with the pressure of an important machine going down? 

Do you have a passion for maintenance?

Do you have experience working as an electrically biased maintenance engineer within fmcg environments? 

Do you have experience working with extruders, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, servo drives and inverters?

Are you apprentice trained and hold an NVQ level 3 in engineering or maintenance?

Can you fault-find on PLCs such as Siemens, Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi?

About the Company

The client are a big believer in investing in themselves and their business. They invest £6,000,000 a year on new machinery and equipment to ensure that they are keeping up with the times! 

They are a market leader in their industry, manufacturing building products for the housing sector across the UK.

About the Role

The shifts are 1800-0600 on a 4on/4off pattern; you join a team of 12 and will be expected to carry out reactive maintenance primarily and PPMs to keep on top of things. In return, you will receive £40,000 including shift allowance and weekend bonuses, 24 days holiday, training and courses, and opportunities to progress in the near future!

You will be maintaining extruders, compressors, pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, conveyors and more! You will also fault find on PLCs where needed. 

About you
  • You need to be apprentice trained, and posses an NVQ L3 in Engineering or Maintenance.
  • PLC capabilities are desirable
  • 3 to 4 years experience maintaining manufacturing equipment is needed
