Our water industry client is looking for an Asset Planner to join their Havant based team (flexible working considered).

The ideal candidate will drive the efficient and effective investment in our clients' infrastructure, ensuring they continue to provide industry leading performances in the years to come.

The successful applicant will have asset planning and costing and benefit analysis experience as well as the ability to pay attention to detail, communicate well and be highly organised. They not only need to understand the data, but will need be able to provide insight and analysis through clear visual, written and verbal communication.


Together with the existing asset management team, the role will develop, optimise, manage, monitor and change an integrated business plan to ensure that investment, operational and maintenance activities are aligned with achieving business outcomes at lowest whole life cost.

Responsibilities

  • Work across the business to continue the development of the existing IFS system to support asset management decisions for both BAU and the long term business planning process.
  • Refine processes and documentation to support asset management planning and delivery.
  • Continue the work to align PW processes with best practice asset management planning (IAM, ISO 55000).
  • Manage company asset data; collection, storage and quality.
  • Work with our clients' decision support tool to embed the system across the whole business to ensure its benefits are realised for future business planning rounds.
  • Manipulate, analyse and interpret complex data sets
  • Prepare reports for internal and external audiences using business analytics reporting tools.

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified in data related subject
  • Demonstrable experience in an Asset Planning role
  • Background in Utilities/Water

Benefits

  • Salary up to £43k-48k DOE
  • Holiday entitlement of 27 days plus bank holidays (increasing by one day a year to 32 days after 5 years. Plus 1 additional day awarded if no sick days are taken in the previous year.)
  • Pension contributions - employer will double employees contribution. ie. 5% =10%
