Hello Education are looking to recruit a talented, experienced and dynamic SEMH Teaching Assistant to work at one of our local schools in Doncaster. This role will see you working in a challenging yet rewarding and diverse environment with a pupil who is vulnerable and in need of specific support.

This school supports SEMH pupils with varying degrees of Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. This covers a wide range of needs and backgrounds ranging from trauma, neglect and sexual exploitation to challenging behaviour, drug abuse, anxiety and depression.

The role is to support an Early Years Foundation Stage student on a 1:1 basis, the child also has speech and language difficulties. This full time role is due to commence on 01 November running until Christmas, but may be extended for the right individual. 

A Specific scheme of work and intervention has been designed specifically for the student to maximise learning and development opportunities.

• Experience in an all SEMH school or provision
• Strong Literacy and Numeracy skills to provide catch up and booster sessions
• Ability to build relationships with students from challenging backgrounds

• A genuine passion for helping students overcome challenges in their everyday life
