Profectus has a brand-new requirement for its leading client near Reading for a Head of Communications for a 6-month Fixed Term Contract. Please note due to it being a 6-month requirement the likelihood is you are currently not in employment and able to start relatively swiftly.

Please note the position is remote with the requirement to visit the office once a week so the ability to get to Reading is required but this location is well served by public transport.

The position will offer quite a variety of duties including handling internal and external communications via the Intranet, press releases, publications and even podcasts.

Willingness to work on the publishing of sensitive situations relating to Health-related matters that reflect the company in a positive way is required.

You will manage a small team encompassing a Copywriter.

Required experience

• Previously held a Head of Communications / Communications Manager position.
• Experienced with most internal and external communication methods.
• Have excellent communication skills.

Beneficial experience

• Healthcare industry experience.

There is the possibility the position will extend beyond the 6 month period but can not of course be guaranteed at the moment.
