Job Description:
Our client is looking for a dynamic, forward thinking Warehouse Manager to join their team in Exeter.
The Role:
The person:
You will have 5 years plus or equivalent experience within a warehouse manager
Experience of Lean, 5S, six sigma & other effectiveness approaches
People and process management
Team leadership & generate team commitment

The Role:
- To promote an environmentally sound and health & safety conscious work environment.
- To provide day-to-day direction and an effective focal point for Warehouse & DC team
- To plan & prioritise Warehouse activities
- To achieve Warehouse & DC goals by monitoring and improving on agreed key performance indicator measures including quality, accuracy, cost, productivity, and fulfilment
- To actively promote 5S / workplace organisation and Lean activities
- To ensure Warehouse & DC standards, processes and procedures are consistent and up to date
- To ensure appraisals and training matrices are completed and accurate
- To utilise all Warehouse & DC resources efficiently and effectively to meet agreed targets
- To develop people to ensure the optimum level of skills to fulfil their potential & meet the future needs of the organisation
- To ensure the effective use of systems and processes to monitor and improve quality, cost-effectiveness, and productivity
- To ensure stock accuracy and take ownership of all stock movement.
The person:
You will have 5 years plus or equivalent experience within a warehouse manager
