An engineering company (est. 1947) who are an ISO 9001:2015 certified, award-winning manufacturer of automated inspection units and equipment for filling, capping, and closing of bottles, jars, vials, ampoules, syringes and tubes.  

Due to the rapid growth of the business, they are looking for an ambitious, self-motivated sales executive who is looking for a challenging role for an excellent salary.

The role is ideal for a candidate who is passionate about selling and is a natural winner meeting and exceeding challenging targets along with superb negotiation skills.

You will work in a fast paced but friendly environment where we constantly improving our level of the customer services standards. 

You will utilise your entrepreneurial approach and work independently using your own initiative, however, also being supported by our technical, sales team and marketing team.

Responsibilities

  • To achieve/exceed ambitious targets
  • To sell to the end customers in the allocated European and MEA or other areas (B2B sales)
  • To implement superb customer service
  • Build excellent, long-lasting customer relationships (blue-chip companies as well as smaller businesses mainly within pharma, cosmetic and food industries)
  • Professionally communicate and partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
  • Effectively communicate the technical value proposition via phone, conference calls, email and face to face visits/presentations
  • Together with the internal sales team, prepare winning quotations and sales proposals
  • Coordinating with the marketing team on lead generation
  • Promoting on highly professional level organisation and our products
  • Attending exhibitions in the UK and abroad

 

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience in meeting or exceeding targets of £1 million plus
  • Proven high closing rate
  • Being able to sell equipment with short term sales cycle and also investment projects
  • Previous experience as a sales executive
  • Ability to drive the sales process from beginning to close. With exceptional negotiation skills.
  • Natural ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Engineering background and experience
  • Working well under pressure
  • Working independently within the time structured manner
